At the end of May this year, I was covering the launch of the new roller coaster of Busch Garden, Tampa, the Cheetah hunt, and others new attractions SeaWorld Group. The proposal was to make the texts, pictures, and some drawings observation and an infographic about the mountain. The report was published in 30 juny, at travel section at O Globo (Rio de Janeiro – Brazil)

Do grupo de 13 brasileiros na press trip, eu era o único com entrevista marcada com o diretor de engenharia e design do parque, Jeff Hornick, mas no dia do lançamento um problema técnico do brinquedo impossibilitou a conversa com Jeff. Falei com a assessoria de imprensa que sem falar com ele o infográfico não existiria.

The group of 13 Brazilians in the press trip, I was the only appointment with the director of engineering and design Park, Jeff Hornick, but on launch day a problem technical impossible to talk with Jeff. I spoke with the press office without talking to him there isn’t the infographic.

Outro encontro foi marcado, mas para o dia da volta ao Brasil. Mas como eu estava em Orlando, acordei cedo no dia do embarque e gastei 1h30m de Orlando até Tampa, onde está Busch Garden.

Na conversa com ele, entendi o funcionamento e peguei todas as alturas, medidas, e consegui produzir o primeiro mapa perspectivado da montanha, coisa que nem o parque ainda tem para distribuir

Nesse dia também fiz uns desenhos de observação, por que a ideia era a de passar o clima do local, mostrar a visão do visitante antes de entrar no brinquedo

Nowadays datos visualization, statistical information, database, is the correct way to work with the infographics.. But, I confessed!! I made an illustrated work and I like…so, this page is about the popular brazilian folk, called Festa Junina, besides the carnival is the most popular party in Brazil. I did three interviews with brazilian folk researchers for obtained the informations and  I used the language of Cordel wood engraving (folk engraving very popular in Brazil). Soo, enjoy…

Outro aspecto que gostei no trabalho e de ter a oportunidade de falar sobre nós mesmos, sobre a cultura brasileira.

Another aspect that I liked at work and having the opportunity to talk about ourselves, about brazilian culture.

In Brazil is a very common phrase: samba is on foot. So when I heard  the laboratory Biophysics, School of Physical Education and Sport at USP(University ofSão Paulo) is researching the real movement of the human body using a software similar to used in James Cameron’s film Avatar, I thought: we could do a test of movement between a dancer and a not dancer to see if the biomechanics explains the secret of the samba is on foot. Participating in this infographic with me: Leo Dresch (video), Michel Filho (photography) and Jacqueline Falcão (reporter and was not the dancer dancer test). I did this infographic for the sunday carnival:

Eu tive bons momentos em Denver – organizada, limpa, espalhada e calma cidade, mas, muito alta (1.600 metros acima do mar). Por isso, eu sempre estava com sede.
I had great moments at Denver – organized, cleaned, spread and calm city, but, too high (5,280 feet above sea level ). Because this I always thirsty.

O hotel onde era realizada a SND ficava 16th street mall, uma rua onde não passa carro, mas passa um trem gratuito elétrico e a gás.
The hotel where they were holding the SND was located in the 16th street mall, a street where the car don´t pass, but passing a free electric and gas train.
El hotel donde se celebraba el SND se quedava en la calle 16, una calle donde no pasa coche, mas pasa un coche a electricidad y a gas.

O primeiro palestrante foi Roger Fidler, falou do futuro dos designers de notícias e da evolução tecnológica,  em específico dos tabletes.
The first speaker was Roger Fidler, he talked about the future for the news designers and the tecnological evolution, in specific the tablets.

Sorry, I”ve been absent on this space, sorry again,  I’ve been working so hard. After my excuses, above I post three diferents works: one infographic (about acident of Cissa’s Guimaraes son – TV Globo’s actress.), one page design (workers wrote good or bad) and two ilustrations (poetry page on the literature section)
